Neutrality to Access

Lehman College students have access to different types of support throughout the campus. Unfortunately, they’re not consistently aware of which resources are available to them. While recognizing that the Library provides various forms of assistance, students still continue to query us about resources to which they have access.
Despite the Library’s decision to reduce the number of weekly hours in wake of the pandemic, we are still open to the community seven days a week. This will ensure students’ ability to receive research assistance, access materials for course work, and have a quiet space to study.
Further, a CUNY ID permits access to all the University’s affiliated campus libraries throughout the City. CLICS, the intercampus book borrowing system, guarantees delivery of a wider collection of materials from CUNY campuses. Students may arrange to have any CUNY-owned circulating book delivered either to their home campus or one in their neighborhood.
This program has recently been expanded to incorporate collections from all 64 State University of New York (SUNY) campuses, greatly broadening the network of accessible titles searchable through OneSearch, CUNY’s online catalog.
