Self-Guided Task Layout

This handbook is divided into four sections: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior. Each section outlines steps in a student’s learning journey and includes various tasks to complete. There is no set order for these tasks, allowing students to choose what to focus on based on their needs and interests. This flexibility enables students to concentrate on what matters most to them at any given time. The goal is to provide guidance and support without the pressure of a strict sequence, making the handbook suitable for students at different stages.

In each section—Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior—you will find specific tasks and strategies to complete. After finishing a task, be sure to check it off on the Career Development Checklist. After completing the required number of credits for each section (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior)  you should take the Career Readiness Profile Survey. This structure helps guide you through your career development journey step by step.
