A career assessment is a tool or test that helps you figure out what kinds of jobs might be a good fit for you. It is like a quiz about your interests, skills, and personality, and suggests careers you might enjoy and be good at.

Completing a career Assessment can help you:

  1. Discover new career options: Sometimes we do not know about all the jobs that exist. A career assessment might suggest careers you have never even heard of before, opening up a whole world of possibilities.
  2. Understand yourself better: These assessments ask questions about what you like, what you are good at, and how you prefer to work. By thinking about these things, you learn more about yourself. This self-knowledge is super valuable, not just for picking a career, but for life in general.
  3. Save time and effort: Instead of randomly trying out different classes or jobs to see what you like, a career assessment gives you a starting point. It narrows down your options to careers that are more likely to be a good match for you.
