Professional Development Workshops are special classes or training sessions that teach you useful skills for your future career. They are  like extra lessons outside of your regular school classes, but focused on helping you succeed in the working world.

Participating in professional development workshop can help you:

  1. Learn job-ready skills: Many workshops teach you practical skills that employers want.
  2. Build your network: Workshops are great places to meet people who might help you in your career.
  3. Boost your confidence: Learning new skills can make you feel more prepared for the working world.

Information on how to attend:

To participate in professional workshops, you can contact Dr. Jessica Rivera, the Academic Support Manager for the SEEK Program. Dr. Rivera runs the Project Thrive workshop, which includes various professional development workshops.

  1. Get help to participate in professional workshops by submitting your request through the SEEK Academic Support Center (ASC) system. Click here to complete the survey.
