Community service is when you volunteer your time and effort to help others or improve your community without getting paid. It is like being a real-life superhero, but instead of fighting villains, you are fighting problems in your neighborhood or helping people in need.

Getting involved in Community Service Activities can help you:

  1. Boost your college applications: Colleges love to see students who do community service. It shows them you care about others and can manage your time well. It’s like adding a gold star to your application that makes you stand out from other students.
  2. Learn new skills: Community service often puts you in new situations where you have to solve problems or work with different kinds of people.
  3. Feel good and make friends: Helping others just feels great! It can make you happier and more confident. Plus, you’ll probably meet other volunteers who care about the same things you do. It’s a fun way to make new friends while doing something good.
