Handshake is a online platform designed to help students find jobs and internships. Think of it as a social media site, but instead of connecting you with friends, it connects you with potential employers and career opportunities.

Setting up a Handshake account can help you:

  1. Easy job hunting: Handshake shows you job and internship listings from lots of different companies, all in one place.
  2. College and career event info: You can find out about career fairs, workshops, and other events happening at your school or online.
  3. Direct connection with employers: Companies can see your profile on Handshake and reach out to you if they think you would be a good fit for a job.
  4. Interview practice: Some employers on Handshake offer virtual interviews, which can help you get comfortable with the interview process before you do it for real.
