  2. Accessibility and sharing: An online E-Portfolio is easily shareable and accessible from anywhere, making it simple for students to distribute their professional profile.

Create an Education section

For this section students will create their educational profile Include information about their education, such as the name of theschool or university, degree or program, major or specialization, and relevant coursework or academic achievements and additional Information such as participating in conferences, workshops, scholarships awards, and a brief statement about how their educational experience at ( XYZ University) has helped developed the skills in their major.

Create Work Experience Section

In this section, students will provide a summary of Work Experiences, highlighting any previous work experiences, internships, or part-time jobs. Include details about the organization, position held, key responsibilities, and notable achievements. This is a summary only, not a detail list of your work experience. They will provide a link to a cover letter and detailed resume at the bottom. For students without work experience, the focus can shift to academic projects, extracurricular activities, volunteer work, and personal projects that have helped them develop relevant skills and knowledge. Students will be given prompts to help them think and write about their academic and professional journey

Create Skills and Competencies Section

Students will Use this section to showcase the skills and competencies they possess, such as technical skills, languages, software proficiency, certifications and leadership abilities, and teamwork. ( Show how you use your skills and competencies).

Create Portfolio Section

For this section, Students can showcase their notable projects or accomplishments and provide a brief description of each project or accomplishment and can include links, and visuals, such as images or videos.

Create a link and insert it in Microsoft Sway

 Create Testimonials and Recommendations Section

Students can include testimonials or recommendations from professors, mentors, or employers to add credibility to their profile.

Create Contact Information Section

Include relevant details such as your phone number, best time to contact, email address, LinkedIn profile link, or any other professional networking platforms you are active on. This makes it easy for viewers to connect with you and continue the conversation.

Create Closing Thoughts Section

When concluding a Sway professional profile, students can consider several effective ways to wrap up their presentation. Here are some ideas for ending the Sway professional profile:

1. Thank You Slide: Create a slide expressing gratitude to the viewers for their time and attention. This slide can convey appreciation for their consideration and offer a positive and professional note to conclude the presentation.

3. Future Goals: Share your future goals or aspirations on the last slide. This can be an opportunity to express your enthusiasm for upcoming projects, career advancements, or areas you plan to explore further. It adds a forward-looking perspective to your profile and showcases your ambition and drive.

4. Visuals and Quotes: Consider using an impactful visual or an inspiring quote that aligns with your professional profile and personal brand. It can leave a lasting impression and resonate with the viewers, leaving them with a memorable closing image or thought.

3. Add Content to Your Storyline:

  • The Storyline is where you build your e-portfolio by adding various content cards.
  • Click the “+” button to insert different types of cards:
    • Text Cards: Include headings, paragraphs, or bullet points to describe your experiences and skills.
    • Media Cards: Embed images, videos, or audio clips to showcase projects or presentations.
    • Group Cards: Organize related content, such as a photo gallery or a stack of documents.

4. Customize the Design:

  • Navigate to the Design tab to choose a style that reflects your personal brand.
  • Use the Styles pane to select color schemes, fonts, and layouts.
  • Utilize the Remix! button to let Sway suggest design variations.
