Sophomore (30 – 59.9 credits) – Get Involved and Decide on a Major

The sophomore year is a time to get involved and make key decisions, particularly choosing a major. With 30 to 59.9 credits under your belt, students have a better understanding of their academic interests and are more confident navigating college life.

Specifically, in this stage you will:

  1. Consider or actually join organizations related to your major and career interests.
  2. Create a LinkedIn profile.
  3. COMPLETE a ” Mock interview“.
  4. Search for internships and apply for Internships.
  5. Review course requirements for majors and minors.
  6. Complete Professional Certifications.
  7. Complete the Career Readiness Profile Survey.
