Getting started with Navigate
One of the first tools you will be using is Navigate, a platform designed to connect students with advisors, instructors, and campus resources. With Navigate, you can schedule appointments, view your class schedule, and access important campus services. The app also helps you stay on track with to-dos, deadlines, and notifications.
To get started, download the “Navigate Student” app from the App Store or Google Play and log in using your CUNY Login. You can also access Navigate through a web browser. Stay informed and connected with tools to support your academic success and engagement.

Setting up your student email
Your CUNY email is one of the important communication tools available to you as a LaGuardia student. You will receive updates, course information, and official college communication from your professors and the college through this account. You are expected to check your CUNY email daily.
Your CUNY email address follows this format: firstname.lastname##@login.cuny.edu
This email account is connected to your CUNY Login credentials.
You can access your email by logging into Outlook at: https://outlook.office.com/live.lagcc.cuny.edu
Use your CUNY Login email address and password to sign in.

When you activate your student email, you will receive access to Microsoft 365, which offers a range of tools. As a LaGuardia student, the following tools are available to you:

Brightspace is LaGuardia’s Learning Management System (LMS). You will use it in some classes to access course materials, complete and submit assignments, or have an online discussion with classmates.
