About Financial Assistance

The principal objective of student financial assistance is to provide the necessary financial support, to the extent possible, for SEEK students to attend the college. The college Financial Aid Office is responsible for the processing, awarding, and overseeing of all financial aid for SEEK students. Packages and awards are made in accordance with the guidelines and criteria established by the University and the funding authorities.
The Financial Aid Office will verify student economic eligibility in order to make financial aid awards and for admission into the SEEK program. It is the student’s responsibility, however, to ensure that the correct documents are submitted to the Financial Aid Office in a timely manner. All SEEK students MUST re-apply for financial aid each academic year in order to continue receiving funds. To avoid delays and problems with your financial aid funding and cash disbursements by the Bursar’s Office, students must file the FAFSA and TAP forms as soon as possible after January 1st of the academic year. SEEK students who do not file on time will find that they will not receive their book stipends before the semester begins and that classes may be dropped from their schedules.

Any questions or concerns regarding financial aid should be directed to the SEEK Financial Aid Coordinator:
